Here’s how I made an iPad stand for my wife by using scrap walnut pieces. The board is about 10.5″ x 7.5″. I used butt joints with nothing but wood glue because I’m not overly worried about stability since it’s just holding an iPad. This is hardly perfect, but can be done really quick, and now my wife can read a recipe easily while she cooks, and I can watch YouTube while I eat ice cream in the kitchen.
